I've looked all over the internet and I can't find a way to update my Cadillac XT5 2017 Cue infotainment system. The dealer says it's updated but I highly doubt it. It would be nice if I could find the update files online somewhere and update it myself.
As owners of these models are very well aware, Cadillac was advertising that the CUE system would get updates/upgrades and that an app store called CUE Collection would be released.

Trying to contact them through the appropriate private channels all I received were promises to have people contact me back, but ultimately they just tried to ignore me into silence instead of answering my questions.
The only thing that has been confirmed is that pre-2016 models cannot support the latest firmware, and that upgrading the hardware in order to support it will void the warranty (as if they don't have a say in the matter).
I am curious if anyone has had any better luck with getting Cadillac to be more straightforward about abandoning the early adopting customers who believed what they were advertising on the Cadillac webpage (and have since removed)?
