I would consider this a very 'hot' buy right now for anyone needing a professional, 'top end' scanner. Origionally sold for just over $1000, now sold for pennies on the dollar. Works abosolutely wonderful with Windows XP and still a viable option, although not 'full featured' as far as the 'button assigment' and file save choices with Vista and Windows 7. With those OS's you will use the TWAIN, or WIA (Windows Drivers) for operation. Basically the scanner is quite fast with a very high 4800x4800 resolution capacity. The document feeder works very well with very few issues of jamming and includes a duplexing option. OVERALL this is absolutely a BEST scanning option for the cost. I have learned after owning 2 previous 'all in one's' that it is still best to have a seperate printer and scanner if you have the space for that option as the All in One's are limited with their capabilities as well as the fact that if they break, you have to replace the entire machine.Read full review
Hp Scanjet 8250 Software Windows 10
Hello. I have a small business and I need a flatbed scanner compatible with Windows 10. I actually have an HP Scanjet 8250 that used to work just fine with Windows 8, but it won't work with Windows 10. The HP website says it does not have a driver for my 8250 that is compatible with Windows 10. Thankfully they referred me to a 3rd party vendor that 'may' have a Win10 driver compatible with my 8250, but after I downloaded their product, I would've had to pay for a driver that 'might' work.

So I figured, maybe I should just buy a new flatbed scanner that is compatible with Windows 10. Not surprisingly, I could find nothing on the Internetz that provides a list of flatbed scanners that are natively compatible with Win10. The best I could do was find a few scanners that may have 'work-arounds' or '3rd party drivers' that 'should' work with Win10. For the price of these flatbeds, I'd rather not gamble on a possiblility that a simple device might work with my OS.

So now I turn to you. Please help. Is there any flatbed scanner that is compatible with Windows 10? Oh, and for the sake of being thorough, I need a scan window that is at least 9' by 14'. Thanks for your time.
