We purchased this All in One to replace two failing printers on two different computers. I have an older WIFI, so I had to use the manual setup to establish a link with my network, which was not difficult, but the fact that I had some technical knowledge really helped. I was glad to see it took my extra long passphrase with no problem.This unit prints just fine from all our computers, however to get decent scans, one needs to increase the bpi and fiddle with the contrast/brightness. Something I've never had to do on previous HP units.
And the Copy mode is very much a disappointment. While scanning allows one to adjust bpi and contrast, Copy does not, and there does not appear to be any settings on the unit to change the defaults. Copies come out over or under contrast (depending on setting used) and the Black and White selection produces very poor copy output. Since most of what we copy are documents, this is regrettable.
But for the price, you get what you pay for I guess.. <g>
