Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:
- Press Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.
- Select Troubleshooting.
- Select View all on the top left corner.
- Click Hardware and Devices.
- Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.
Method 2: Check Device status
I suggest you to check if the device is listed in Device manager. If listed, then you can check the device status to find out what exactly is causing this issue.
Follow the steps given below to check the status of the device in Device Manager:
- Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand Hard Drive and right-click on the drive.
- Select Properties and check if the device is working properly under Device Status.
If there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it, then it indicates that there are some issues with it.
Method 3
While the developer tools are free, you have to be a registered developer to get an unlocked device. Download xap files.
I suggest you to check if the disk is listed in Disk management utility. If it is listed, run an error check to see if there are any corrupted files causing this issue.
